JOB SUMMARY
An experienced procurement professional who can lead the
development of a strategic vision and operational plans to maximize
business opportunities through effective Category Management &
execution of Sourcing process. Experience in managing a team size
of 20+ members, preferably in a service sector setting.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
• Play a leadership role in key procurement activities, including
RFx development and execution, Statement of Work (SOW) and
contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations(new client
initiatives).
• Partner with the Client in co-creating Sourcing team’s vision,
strategies and objectives to deliver against broader business
objectives
• Own the execution against identified initiatives to build credibility
for the GEP team in the eyes of the Client
• “Sell while delivering” – upsell work at the Client on the back of
superb delivery
• Partner closely with key stakeholder teams to understand critical
business needs, trends and strategies
• Understand projects financials and bottom-line impact of staffing
and other changes
• Provide SME-level input to help solution new deals
• Manage a team of junior sourcing professionals – including dayto-
day coaching, training, and ongoing development
• Coaching subordinates and direct reports, build the future
leaders of the organization
• Participate in Firm Building initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
• Category experience of Direct - Chemicals/ Food
• Strong strategic abilities coupled with analytical ability and
collaborative style
• Ability to motivate oneself & others, ability to self-direct, &
prioritize
• Ability to handle diverse clients & scope of work
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to inspire, delegate
• Intuition, ability to anticipate & proactively address situations
• Ability to network across levels and functions
