What you will do

 

  • Lead the editing and refinement of marketing content developed by internal teams and external contributors, ensuring brand consistency, tone, and clarity.
  • Review, edit, and polish content such as white papers, case studies, press releases, corporate communications, web copy, and marketing collateral to ensure high standards of accuracy and impact.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to shape and refine thought leadership content—support the authoring process by editing, enhancing structure, and sharpening messaging.
  • Own the final stage proofreading and quality assurance process for all outgoing marketing communications.
  • Partner with the design and content writing teams to bring marketing concepts to life through cohesive and impactful messaging.
  • Understand campaign goals, target audience, and key messaging to guide content improvement across formats (e.g. events, emails, banners, landing pages, and social media).
  • Monitor content performance metrics such as CTRs, registrations, and engagement; make ongoing editing and copy adjustments (e.g. CTA, subject lines) to optimize results.
  • Stay updated on B2B content trends, competitive messaging, and editing best practices to ensure content remains effective and relevant.
  • Vet, edit, and align all content pieces to brand tone, grammar, messaging, and marketing goals.

What you should bring

Job Title: Content Editing Manager

 

Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in content editing and strategy, preferably in a B2B environment or advertising/creative agency.

  • Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and tone.
  • Strong understanding of new-age content domains, particularly in B2B communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to turn raw content from stakeholders into polished, marketing-ready copy.
  • Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, product, business, and creative teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using performance data to enhance content effectiveness.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and thrives in fast-paced, informal environments.
  • Strong team player with leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset.
