What you will do

About the Role
The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing global financial operations
for FHV - https://fhv.ai/. This individual will ensure the seamless financial performance of various
local entities and provide strategic financial leadership across the organization. This role will also
involve supporting the creation and management of new entities, bank accounts, and multi-currency
operations globally. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including tech, tax,
and operations, to ensure the business model can scale effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Global Financial Management & Planning:
o Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the organization across all
global entities.
o Develop and manage cash flow strategies, including multi-currency operations, to
ensure the financial health of the organization.
o Establish and maintain pricing models for new customer engagements and support
global financial scalability.
2. Accounting & Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements across all
entities.
o Oversee the preparation of financial statements and consolidated management
reports for global operations.
o Work closely with the tax team to ensure accurate filings and compliance with
international tax regulations.
3. Operational Leadership:
o Lead the establishment of new entities, bank accounts, and financial infrastructure
in line with the company’s expansion plans.
o Transition financial responsibilities from the current finance lead, focusing on
scalability and strategic growth.
o Manage day-to-day transactional finance activities, including payments, invoicing,
and reconciliations.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Collaborate with tech, tax, and operations stakeholders to ensure the scalability of
the business model.
o Serve as the key finance liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including
clients and partners.
5. Team Management:
o Supervise and mentor the finance team, including Finance Associates and other
support roles globally.
o Build and develop a high-performing finance team to meet the organization’s global
needs.
6. Strategic Oversight:
o Oversee the financial performance of various local entities and ensure alignment
with global financial objectives.
o Support the scaling of the company’s financial infrastructure and processes to align
with its growth strategy.

What you should bring

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in finance, with significant exposure to managing global financial
operations.
• Experience working in the US and/or Europe is required.
• Strong background in financial planning, FP&A, compliance, and multi-currency financial
operations.
• Proven track record of establishing and managing financial infrastructure for global entities.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced
environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in trade finance or supply chain finance is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial compliance requirements in the US, Europe, and India.
• Hands-on experience with scaling financial operations in a global organization
