As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will take full ownership of sourcing operations across direct or indirect categories, ensuring delivery of strategic value to our Fortune-ranked clients. You will lead a team, build strong stakeholder relationships, drive category strategies, and oversee sourcing execution end-to-end. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of operational excellence, team leadership, and client management.
Own and manage team performance by tracking KPIs, SLAs, and resource utilization; provide consolidated reporting and actionable insights to leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders within your category, managing end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and category strategy execution
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with a client-centric mindset; provide regular updates, issue resolution, and strategic inputs
Lead contract execution processes by working closely with legal, compliance, and audit teams to ensure alignment with organizational policies and risk frameworks
Ensure continuity of supply and services through effective supplier management, robust risk mitigation plans, and maintaining qualified alternate sources
Apply best-in-class sourcing practices, market intelligence, and cost optimization strategies tailored to client needs
Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
Identify opportunities for business growth and value expansion, both within the current engagement and across adjacent categories or services
Qualification:
5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, including at least 3 years of category management (direct or indirect)
Strong financial and cost modeling skills with the ability to derive insights from large data sets
Experience with client-facing roles, managing stakeholders at various levels, and influencing decisions
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, SMART by GEP) and data tools
Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring teams, balancing priorities, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
